Introduction

MCC Radio ("we," "our," or "us") operates mccradio.org and its apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android, Roku, and Amazon Alexa. MCC Radio is a ministry of My Community Church in Marion, Ohio, and is responsible for the information described in this policy.

The apps are developed and published on the station's behalf by Tom Knows Tech LLC, owned by Thomas Beaver, who is MCC Radio's technology partner and president of the station's board. Tom Knows Tech LLC appears as the developer on the App Store, Google Play, Roku, and Amazon listings, and handles the apps only as described in this policy. It does not collect, use, or share your information for its own purposes.

This document explains our privacy practices and the terms of use that apply to this website and our services.

Information We Collect

MCC Radio is designed with your privacy in mind. Apart from the contact form described below, this site and our apps:

• Do not collect personal information as you browse or listen
• Do not require user registration or login
• Do not track your listening habits
• Do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
• Do not share any data with third parties for marketing purposes
• Do not access any device information beyond what is necessary to play audio

Contact Form

If you choose to write to us through the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, your email address, your phone number if you supply one, the topic you select, and your message. We ask for these only so that we can read your message and reply to you.

Submissions are delivered to us by email at [email protected] and are not saved to a database or published on the site. We keep the messages in our email account for as long as they are useful, and we do not sell them, rent them, or share them with anyone outside the ministry. Our web server keeps a short operational log of form submissions — the time and the sender's email address — to help us spot abuse of the form.

You do not have to use the form. Email, telephone, and postal details are listed on the contact page if you would rather reach us another way.

Technical Connections

When you visit mccradio.org or use our apps, the following connections occur:

1. Audio stream: Your device connects to our streaming server at radio.mccmarion.org to receive the audio broadcast.
2. Now playing information: The site and apps fetch currently playing song information from radio.mccmarion.org every 15 seconds to display what is on air.
3. Program schedule: The site fetches the program schedule from mccradio.org/schedule.json to display current and upcoming programs.

These connections are made to our own servers and do not involve personal data collection beyond what is described below under Streaming Server Information.

Streaming Server Information

Our radio stream is powered by AzuraCast, which automatically collects basic technical information such as:

• IP addresses of listeners (used for stream delivery)
• Approximate geographic location (country and region level)
• Listener count and connection duration
• Device or player type used to connect

This information is collected by our streaming infrastructure for operational purposes such as monitoring stream health and listener statistics. We do not use this data to identify individual users or for marketing purposes.

Voice Requests

When you speak to our Alexa skill, Amazon processes your speech and sends us only the recognized intent, such as a request to play the station or report the current song. We do not receive audio recordings, and we do not store these requests. Amazon's own handling of voice recordings is governed by the Amazon Alexa privacy notice.

Third-Party Services

This website uses a small number of third-party services. Each may make connections from your browser to their servers:

• Google Fonts: mccradio.org loads typefaces from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• PayPal: The Donate page loads PayPal's donation SDK from paypalobjects.com. If you complete a donation, your information is handled by PayPal and My Community Church. See PayPal's Privacy Policy.

Beyond the above, MCC Radio does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Storage

Aside from contact form messages, which arrive in our email account as described above, MCC Radio does not store any user data on our servers. The site does not create user accounts or profiles.

Children's Privacy

This site and our apps do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. Our content — Southern Gospel music and ministry programming — is suitable for all ages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Your Rights

We hold no personal information about you unless you have written to us. If you have sent us a message and would like us to delete it, ask us through the contact form or email [email protected], and we will remove it.
