MCC Radio ("we," "our," or "us") operates mccradio.org and associated apps for Roku, iOS, Android, and other platforms. This document explains our privacy practices and the terms of use that apply to this website and our services.

MCC Radio is designed with your privacy in mind. This site and our apps:

  • Do not collect personal information
  • Do not require user registration or login
  • Do not track your listening habits
  • Do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
  • Do not share any data with third parties for marketing purposes
  • Do not access any device information beyond what is necessary to play audio

Technical Connections

When you visit mccradio.org or use our apps, the following connections occur:

  1. Audio stream: Your device connects to our streaming server at radio.mccmarion.org to receive the audio broadcast.
  2. Now playing information: The site and apps fetch currently playing song information from radio.mccmarion.org every 15 seconds to display what is on air.
  3. Program schedule: The site fetches the program schedule from mccradio.org/schedule.json to display current and upcoming programs.

These connections are made to our own servers and do not involve personal data collection beyond what is described below under Streaming Server Information.

Streaming Server Information

Our radio stream is powered by AzuraCast, which automatically collects basic technical information such as:

  • IP addresses of listeners (used for stream delivery)
  • Approximate geographic location (country and region level)
  • Listener count and connection duration
  • Device or player type used to connect

This information is collected by our streaming infrastructure for operational purposes such as monitoring stream health and listener statistics. We do not use this data to identify individual users or for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

This website uses a small number of third-party services. Each may make connections from your browser to their servers:

  • Google Fonts: mccradio.org loads typefaces from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • PayPal: The Donate page loads PayPal's donation SDK from paypalobjects.com. If you complete a donation, your information is handled by PayPal and My Community Church. See PayPal's Privacy Policy.

Beyond the above, MCC Radio does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Storage

MCC Radio does not store any user data on our servers. The site does not create user accounts or profiles.

Children's Privacy

This site and our apps do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. Our content — Southern Gospel music and ministry programming — is suitable for all ages.
